Shaving of the Beard

So it started out like any other beard. Then it went from a beardface to a Civil War General, then to the Morgan Spurlack. Now I'm just scruffy. I personally like the full beard the best but the handlebars are close second.

Grizzy Adams Did Have a Beard

I would've used a picture of myself but I feel that my brother's beard was better than mine. Here's the thing about beards. They're fun to have but a pain if you don't like anything on your face. I think it takes a very patient man to grow a beard. I'm not that patient. I've been growing my beard for a month now and even though I like the look of it, it's starting to bug the crap out of me. So before I shave it off, I'll make sure I post what it looks like in the end. Just know that it won't be anywhere near as rad as D's.

Update

So it's been a while since I last posted. Here's an update. Last March, I landed a new job at 1-800 Contacts. This is the best job I've ever had. A lot of good people and great benefits. The job is fairly easy too. All I do is it at a computer and call eye doctors to see if they're legitimate Eye Care Providers. Not to shabby.
As far as school goes, I recently started going to the University of Utah studying photography. Graduating will come eventually but I'm looking forward to learning.
Finally, only 49 days left until I marry my best friend Lisa Udall. All is well in the life of Bub-Rubb.

Oh, I Hate That Song

I don't know why, but I like to make list of things that I hate. This blog will feature songs that I hate.
Even Flow - Pearl Jam
Higher - Creed (or pretty much everything by Creed)
Wherever You Will Go - The Calling
Anything by Nickelback
I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You - Savage Garden
I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself - My Best Friends Wedding Soundtrack (My mom loves this stupid song)
Honky Tonk, Badonky Donk - Some stupid Country singer
You've Lost That Loving Feeling - The Righteous Brothers
You Raise Me Up - Josh Groban
Take My Breath Away - Berlin
I Hope You Dance - Lee Ann Womack
Desert Rose - Sting

There's plenty more where this came from I just can't remember them now

Do You Agree?

This question was on the online application for Home Depot. I thought it was hilarious.

Movies I Hate

I know it's been a long time since I've updated this but... what are you gonna do?
So a few days ago, my brother D, girlfriend Lisa and buddies Dom and Jordan were discussing different movies that we absolutely hate. Movies that make us cringe. They're more than just really bad movies but that we actually hate them. A few came to my mind and here they are in no particular order.
Batman and Robin (1997)
Mars Attacks (1996)
Mystery Men (1999)
The Home Teachers (2004)

These are the movies that stole several hours of my life that I will never get back. I could've used those hours to watch good movies.

Happy Wreck Day

I recently was in a slight car accident. Nobody was hurt and not a whole lot of visible damage was done on the car. I was turn right onto State Sreet from 5900 S. (a popular intersection for accidents) and I stopped to let another motorist make a U turn. Next thing I know, I get rammed from behind by a Applebee's employee. I felt bad for her because it was her birthday. At least now she has a "Bad Day" story that's hard to top. Here are some pictures of the car.

Photography Assignments

This was a photo I took for my lighting assingment in my photography class. It Vulcan Raven from one of my favorite video games, Metal Gear Solid. Kinda lame I know but at least I'm learning right. The other one is of the bench in my backyard. There's an interestin story behind this bench. During the prohibition era, my great-grandfather Stamos used to have a series of tunnels under his home. This bench was part of the loot that was left there. Now my family has it.

Ok everyone, now keep in mind that this will be my top 5 list. And it's only going to be the top 5 albums that I have in my collection. I don't know why I'm doing this but I was bored and this came to my mind. So here we go.
5. Bleed America by Jimmy Eat World
4. Sha Sha by Ben Kweller
3. Pinkerton by Weezer
2. The Fury of the Aquabats by The Aquabats
1. The Blue Album by Weezer

So I just made up this list real quick but either way I love these artists and these albums. I just think I'm desperate for post ideas.

2 to 12

My family has a time share up in Snowbird, UT. They're always making changes up there. Adding new things and updating old things. This last year they added a new playground for kids of all ages. They call it the "Forever Young Playground." My brother and I found this sticker on one of the posts of the playground. Why didn't they just make the sign say 2 to 12. Plus, if it's the "Forever Young Playground" they would need an age limit right?

Harry Potter and the Deathy Halitosis

I recently went to the unvailing of the latest and last book in the Harry Potter series. It was being held at the local Barnes and Noble. I didn't actually buy a book. I went to see a girl. I did make it known to a few fans of the series that I've never actually read any of the books either. After that there was complete silence and all their judging eyes were on me. I was afraid that I might get "muggled." There were a lot of "Jeff Albertsons" there. Kids dressed up like Hogwarts students. Parents dressed like Hogwarts professors. The lines were weaving in and out of every possible isle. It even went outside.

Welcome to my blog

So I'm just starting out fresh on this whole blogging thing so I hope I don't disappoint. This was an excellent candid photo of me taken by my mother at The Cheesecake Factory. That was a big burger.
